Ta Da!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is my 100th post. DD and I discussed what to do and like many others who came before me there will be a drawing. Now to make this interesting I want you to tell me about yourself in a comment so that I can get to know my readers better. Likes, dislikes. Do you enjoy other hobbies, etc. Using this information, DD and I will custom make a little goody bag or box. I will randomly draw from the comments this coming weekend.

Be sure I can contact you or I will have to go to another person that has commented! Good luck and hugs to all!

Hi Swooze, I'm Elizabeth (lillybit) from Wanganui New Zealand, where this morning is giving a glimpse of the oncoming summer. I picked the years first rose and put in DH button hole as he went of to day care. I'm Mum to 5 4 girls and 1 boy only one of whom lives near by. I'm Nana to 13 and great nana to 3. Of course I knit and sew for them tho much less than I used to. I spin, knit, paint, write, quilt embroide and do Maori weaving using Flax or flax fibre making kete (bags) piupiu (traditional skirts)and muke (flax fibre) woven bags. I still have enough time once I go to bed to read 2 or 3 books a week. I enjoy getting to chat with you on quiltchat and try to keep up with your blog on a regular basis.
congratulations on your 100th blog.

WOO HOO on 100 posts! I am a married second grade teacher. I love to quilt and to scrapbook. My favorite colors are red, white and black and that is what you can see in my kitchen, my scrapbooking/quilts (one of the colors is in every quilt I make if not more than one) and was my wedding colors. You know that I am a dog lover as I have rescued many. Currently hubby and I only own one basset hound that we love named Daisy.

Hi Swooze
Congratulations on your 100th post. My name is Yvonne (Eva) an I live in the remote Northern Territory on a 7000km sq Cattle Station where I teach my two girls in year 4 and 6. I love to quilt and embroider. I love to chat on quiltchat. I find it hard to get basic supplies because of where I live, 700km from the nearest fabric shop. I try to make at least one wallhanging a year for our School of the Air to raffle to raise money for the kids to go on camp. I love to create....and love to give. Blues greens and all hues inbetween are my favourite.
Cheers Eva

Hi Swooze! Congrat's on your 100th post! I love your idea - what a cool way to get to know the bloggers visiting your site! :) My name is Valerie (quilt_mommy_quilts), I'm 26, and a stay at home Mom to two girls. My all time favorite hobby is quilting, but I do enjoy knitting and crochet once in a while as well. I love lots of different styles of quilting, but my favorites are traditional quilts in warm colors - deep purples, browns, honey/gold, greens, blues, and reds.

You can contact me at quilt_mommy_2001 at yahoo.com! :)

Hi Swooze!

Congratulations on your 100th post!

I've been organizing my sewing room as well.

I have four small children and so it's a little hard to get a lot of quilting done.

My other hobbies include reading and writing and photography.

Hope to see 100 more posts!

Swooze, congratulations on your 100th post, but even more than that, thank you for being a one-woman mentor, cheering squad and stalker-in-chief to so many of us out here in blogland. I think you know all about me already, but for the record, I live just outside London UK, I have far too many hobbies, a dh, ds, and two cats (which I think should get a job with the amount they cost me every year in insurance and vet bills). I hate housework and would love to spend most of the year on craft holidays if I ever win the lottery.

Congrats on 100 posts.
My name is Jane and I'm a Canadian that has taken up residence in the UK with my husband and 2 daughters...age 4 and 13. I'm a quilter through and through...love everything about it. I don't do dressmaking of any kind now if I can help it...recently my eldest needed a school skirt and I hated every second of making it...I like things nice and flat!
I work as a pre-school assistant for children ages 2-3 and I'm a lunch time supervisor for children ages 3-4. I love working with children and feel very blessed to be a part of their lives.
That's me in a nut shell.

TTFN!

Congratulations on 100 posts! Me? I, too, like Geezer Rock and have an enormous appetite for absolutely useless knowledge otherwise known as trivia. No one will play Trivial Pursuit with me or for that matter Pictionary (I draw too well) LOL!
