Ruler Work

I got a ruler base and some rulers at Christmas for my Avante. I did straight line quilting and some freehand on one of my UFOs.

Now I'm trying to quilt circles. They are so wobbly but by the time I get to the 30th one I should have it down!

I'm operating under the done is better than perfect principle.

Done is better than undone for sure. And practice practice practice. That's what I was told when I first started free motion quilting. I just got a ruler foot for my domestic machine and am watching a Craftsy class on ruler work before I start. Plus I need rulers which I plan on getting at the Road 2 California Quilt show in a couple weeks.

I want to take a ruler work class at the quilted frog in spring. Both the season and the city. Because I pretty much suck at doing any sort of ruler work.

I deserve a vacation.
