Judy L's UFO Challenge

Take a Poll. I am currently finishing up 3 different UFOs. They are the King Log Cabin which I will have to bind when it comes back from the quilters, the Peacock which needs to have the borders quilted then also be bound and finally my Floral Irish Chain which I am currently cutting the rest of the strips for. I thought it would be fun to get input on which item to work on next. The 7 Sisters quilt is not listed on the poll as I need to find some vintage fabric to repair it and will not be able to do that until March when I go to the Dallas Quilt show. Feel free to pencil it in the comments as your vote if you are so inclined!

  1. I vote for the log cabin just because it's the closest to being done. That way you can have one totally finished quickly - which will be very satisfying.

  3. i have been following your blog for a little while. and I congradulate (spelling?)you on your finishes. Too early for me to be correct in spelling. Anyway Picked the Christmas one I always found that the earlier I start I may just actually get it done.

Pick whatever is closest to your heart. it's easiest to finish something you care about

  5. I think you should just pick the one that is closest to you. If they is more than one within arms reach, pick the one that is closest to completion. So often I spend so much time deciding what to do next, when I could actually just be making progress on something, anything.

i think you should finish peacock then the irish chain. I love the colors on the Peacock. Another way to approach it is to take a day to work on each one.

  7. Binding is my favorite part, because that means I've finished another quilt! You will be so happy once you get your King Log Cabin back and bound!
