Decided and Done I turned the outer border into the binding. It is sewn on and just needs to be tacked down. I think it preserves the authenticity of the top. Thanks to all my consultants!
I do love the colours in that quilt. I tried Seven Sisters once in a workshop with Marti Michell but it was just too much hard work, I only made one block and it took four hours. I've still got the block and that was years ago.
Its a wonderful quilt and I know you are happy with it, as you should be. All the work you have put into it will make it just that much more of a treasure.
