I played a little more with the layout. I left it where it is for the weekend so I can think about it a little more. The issue I have is that I followed the directions on the pattern. She recommends dark and medium for the large portion of the block and medium and light for the part that forms the pinwheels. I know lights would make it but that means buying more fabric. I probably will to not ruin my first scrappy quilt. Ruin meaning I do not like it at this point.
And what's this on the floor? I started sashing the "It's a Wrap". I can't wait to finish this one.

what size squares do you need? I will share some of mine.
Your "It's a Wrap" quilt is so cute. As for the pinwheels, I'd be glad to send some lights your way just know I'm filled with Civil War stuff. But going with using your own stash, allow me to submit this. Redefine "light." The bright reds and the purple (solids) or the print at the top with a lot of light in the print itself. Those might be defined as "light" since they can pop. Submitting...
Lighten up!!! I think this is looking good. I like this layout better than your last. You can see the little pinwheel ends better. I really, really, would not go too light. This one appears to be more dark and medium and medium light - but not light. That's the intrigue...it draws one in to see what is really going on in this quilt.
Hey there remember me? love the colors togeather as you have them layed out.
hope all is well with you
These are pretty! I love the way the blocks look so different, when they are laid out differently. Love your gifty quilt!
It's a Wrap is looking great!
