Two Color Quilts

My all time favorite quilt was a red and white Irish Chain that I made and gifted to my childhood friends daughter. I always thought I would make one for myself but have not to this point. I now have red and white fabric that I want to make my quilt with.

Here is my question. What are some of your favorite patterns that could be made using two colors? Share a link to a pic if you have one please.

I don't have one in mind - but I really like that red and white one!

I've always wanted to make a purple & white quilt using the "Gretchen" block. I don't have a pic but it's somewhat similar to the quilt that tirane and Mimi are starting.

I really like the double pinwheel made with two fabrics. I don't have a pic of mine yet, but here's a link to a pic of one....

That looks very like the antique quilt on my bed at the moment. I don't think I've ever finished a two-colour quilt, I can't resist scrappy. I did start an indigo and white bear's paw, I have about 3 blocks made because it is the most tedious thing to do. I only pull it out when I am desperate for a project to take to club.
