Love Quilt Got a call from the quilter and the Love Quilt is ready to be picked up. She called me yesterday but I was just too tired for a road trip. I plan to leave work a little early so that I can get over there to get the quilt and then still run an errand. And darn it all! I just realized I forgot to bring my camera. She has more open space to put this quilt so that I can lay it out and take a pic. Oh well....when I lay it out to bind it (outside) I will take a pic then. Nothing else on the quilty front.
DH is managing well. He does wake up in the middle of the night with some pain. He needs to manage that a little better before bed. Physical therapy and home health have been by several times already. The home health nurse asked if DH needed her to come by and clean his room for him. Now I admit it is really cluttered in there but not dirty.... We are seeing the infectious disease doctors on Monday and I plan to ask what I need to do to ensure we do not pass this infection around or that we do not reinfect dh. From what I read so far it is just to keep things dry and clean. Today I woke up and felt a little tired but more rested than I have. This is a good thing.

what an amazing mass of this way and that you've been pulling lately! if you even get your shoes on the right feet in the mornings i think you're doing great. keep after it. we're here if you need us.
see you next saturday!
I can't wait to see pictures of the quilt. I hope all is going well with Mark and will continue praying that he will improve with no infection.
I have been praying for you and your family, Mark, and hoping that each day is a little better!
I cannot wait to see the quilt..I am glad you are a little more rested..but please get some rest even if you feel you are ok.. wink wink..
Hope DH is feeling better everyday. Hang in there kiddo- as they say This too shall pass. Can't wait to see the love quilt.
Glad to read that you DH is home again. When possible, home is always better than the hospital, even concerning infections. You hear about people getting a 'hospital-bug', but never about them getting a 'home-bug'.
Oh Swooze, you be sure to take good care of yourself while you are taking care of everyone else. you are amazing and wonderful and if I could I would lend you my daughter or myself to babysit while you did something- anything for yourself!
Finally a chance to catch up on my blogs and I wish I'd been reading yours all week. Here's big hugs from just a bit south of you! Remember to take 10 mins for yourself. Go fondle your fabric or just breathe while sitting by your machine. It'll all be there when things calm down. I tend to feel better even if I just sit in my sewing chair for a bit.
Hey Swooze, I've been away for a week, but just caught up on your blog. Whew, you are doing a fantastic job!!!! I agree with morah, just sit and breathe with your sewing and think only about sewing and settle your mind a little. I know how it gets...rush rush rush, it is hard to slow your brain.
Best wishes
Eva
Hang in there, girlfriend. You're doing an amazing job of keeping body and soul together . . . .
