Labor Day Sewing.
I had several items I wanted to work on but only managed to finish my row (triangles) on this Round Robin for my friend Beth in MD.
I saw a quilt at the Plano quilt show and took my inspiration from the border. And what a small world....that quilt was quilted by our very own Bonnie Hunter!
Here is the quilt and quiltmaker that inspired the border for Beth's RR. Karen collected the left over HSTs from her guilds quilts and made this. In fact she said she took everyone's blocks and trimmed them for the quilter in return for getting the HST's. It is truly an awesome quilt!
Very nice, I really like that border and love those 30th prints.
The quilt turned out nice! I'm sure she'll love it!
Oh I do love it!!! Thank you hon :)
YOU DONE GREAT!!!
Beth will adore it. And I think that inspiration quilt is quite nice. I do like those little blocks!
Love that quilt! Those "broken dishes" blocks are great! ;)
Lovely border and the pastel fabrics are very nice
what a lot of work! and I love the colours, especially the butterfly border which is a block I keep meaning to try. Beth will be really pleased. Can you let me know if the treat arrived in your email? If not, I will chase up from my end. Best wishes, Sharon
Beautiful quilts - both the one you added the border to, and the inspirational quilt.
