Looking for Input I have makers choice on this round robin. I am open to your input. The border can be up to 4". What are your thoughts?

I am thinking 4" pinwheels or hourglass blocks. I just love 30's fabrics.

I would do a solid border and applique vines with leaves along the sides and then simple flowers in the corners

I would do a 3 part border - 2"light, 1" dark and 2" light with an opposing 9 patch in the corners - like a puss in the corner block.

Here's a strange idea...
Take out the light corner stone blocks on the previous round if you are allowed to :)
Then add a solid (as in "not pieced") fabric border.
Then in the corners, add a paper pieced block that is 1/4 of the center block, which is the width of the piano key border plus your added strip.
Clear as mud?!?!

I have to agree with the solid border - there's already 2 pieced borders right next to each other - I think I'd go white with applique. Very cute!

A solid meaning not pieced border with applque. Maybe continue with the butterflies and add some flowers. Plus adding another pieced border may include a lot of math depending on what block you choose.

I have just finished a RR with five other ladies. It was a wonderful challenge. Can you tell I'm stalling....LOL
I'm thinking a 1 1/2" stop border maybe in the green fabric that's towards the center. Then add the rest in a light border and applique a vine with a few leaves and carefully placed butterflies.

OMG Swooze how gorgeous is that. I am inclined to agree with the other comments, a solid border with applique vines, leaves and flowers. And by the way I decided before I looked at theirs, ggggg. It was interesting to see that I thought the same as others, but if it was mine, I wouldn't have a clue what to do, lol.

Definitely applique - all that geometry needs something curvilinear, and some white space, to set it off.

What about a few GFG blocks with a green vine connecting them on a white? It's very pretty.

It's really a pretty quilt! I would bring the butterflies to the next border with some appliuqed vines and leaves.
